A podcast for those living with, despite, and beyond depression. A space for those who want to live, especially when they don't.

About the Project

I’m Sad But I’m Trying is a podcast about living with depression — honestly, tenderly, and with a little humor. Each season takes on a new metaphor to explore the interior world of mental health. I call them “Volumes,” because each one feels like a book you can pick up and read in its own right. Together, they form a library of trying — a place to return when you need words for what you’re living through.

Explore the Library

Beyond each Volume, you’ll find two special sections:

  • Bookshelf: A curated collection of readings, essays, and inspiration that have shaped each Volume and helped me navigate life.

  • Letters: A place for listeners to send in their own stories — a space to share, be seen, and connect with others navigating similar journeys.
